SETO A.Ş. was founded in 1982 by producers with experience in different areas of the agricultural sector. During its establishment phase, the company focused on seed breeding and trade, and served as the Turkey representative of the Netherlands-based Enza Zaden company for 24 years until 2007.
Kimta A.Ş., founded by the same partners in 1977, operated for many years in the crop protection and fertilizer sector and represented Finland-based Kemira in Turkey for 15 years. In 2006, Kimta A.Ş. imported and sold 10,000 tons of water-soluble fertilizer.
Following Kemira's decision to withdraw from the fertilizer sector, the company accelerated its own production structure; during this process, the production facilities that SETO A.Ş. owns today were established. In 2009, the activities of SETO A.Ş. and Kimta A.Ş. were merged under SETO A.Ş., creating today's corporate structure.
The company operates in modern production facilities with advanced infrastructure on a 9,059 m² site located in the 2nd Section of the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone. Thanks to its investments, the facilities have an annual production capacity of approximately 38,000 tons of solid/powder fertilizer and 20,900 tons of liquid fertilizer, totaling 58,900 tons.

A meticulous quality control system is applied at every stage of the production process. For products planned to be developed in line with market needs, preliminary trials are carried out in the company laboratory by experienced chemical engineers and formulations are optimized.
